- Would you rather undergo root canal than go over your books with your accountant? Does the thought of meeting with your banker put you into panic mode? Are you reeling from business losses and also at a loss how to move forward? You are not alone! Join us for our breakfast support group where Callie Niezgoda (VP of Business Lending, Common Capital) and Dawn LaRochelle (COVID Business Recovery Manager, Center for Women & Enterprise) will facilitate an open-ended and open-hearted round table discussion about finances. Our focus will be on debt, but the conversation will be free-flowing and organic, and we may stray off-topic to reflect attendee interests and concerns. Come share your struggles and successes in this no-judgment zone with those who can truly empathize with you, and get tips on how to face your finances – no matter how dire they are – without fear to set yourself up for personal and professional success.
About the facilitators:
- Callie Niezgoda is Vice President of Business Lending at Common Capital, where she has worked with and financed small businesses for over eight years. Â Over the years, she has helped hundreds of small, local businesses launch and grow their businesses through financing and business assistance. Â She believes local businesses are crucial to strengthening communities, as they create jobs, rejuvenate neighborhoods, and keep money local.
- Dawn LaRochelle is  Project Manager for COVID Business Recovery at the Center for Women & Enterprise – Central MA and has extensive background in law, entrepreneurship, and education.  She also serves on several local boards and as an Executive Mentor for the Asian American Civic Association. Dawn is passionate about women-owned enterprises and believes that lifting up women lifts up communities that lift up the world.
